Truly exceptional hotel, excellent base for a weekend in Pilot Knob! Spotless and updated room provided with a single bed and the bathroom, for example. - Quiet location close to state parks we wanted to visit, easy to get anywhere.

We had a fantastic time staying at this charming motel in a historic location. The rooms were well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom had a fantastic shower and was immaculately clean. The motel's location was perfect for us, as it was close to the state parks we wanted to visit, such as Johnson Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks, and Taum Sauk, which had great trails. We also loved the fact that there were restaurants nearby for our convenience.
The only downside was that the motel did not offer breakfast, but there were plenty of dining options in the area.

The room had pleasant views of the mountain. Central heating, multi-channel TV, and a microwave oven were available in the room. - the hotel's location was excellent, close to the national forest, historic fort, and just 1 mile from Shepherd Mountain.

Friendly and helpful management. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a large desk for remote work. Convenient location near a park and museum. Good breakfast at the cafe. a great stay and would definitely return!
